Question: Depression and Studying - will meds help?

 downblue - Fri May 23, 2008 10:44 am

I am depressed,confused and a heavy smoker.I can't concetrate to study.Which medication might help?
 Dr. E. Seigle - Sat Jun 07, 2008 3:08 pm

Downblue,

In order to determine what treatments might be helpful for you, whether it be medication, psychotherapy, or both, you should have a psychiatric evaluation with a psychiatrist; on the basis of this, the right treatment plan can be recommended for you. I can't be more specific than this; evaluation must come before treatment.
good luck!
